FAQs
Q: Is SC United a Club program?
A: No, SC United is a GymAct Collegiate Team Program that competes and is ranked under
NCAA competition rules.
Q: Is SC United connected to any particular college?
A: No. SC United accepts gymnasts from any college in Southern California.
Q: Can you attend a Junior College and join SC United?
A: Yes, absolutely.
Q: Are there scholarships available?
A: There are scholarships available for "Gymnastics". There are currently NO
academic-gymnastic scholarships available to attend any of the colleges in Southern
California. Gymnasts have to apply to the colleges of their choice and be accepted on
their own accord. We do not have any way to assist in this process. Once the gymnast is on
our team however, we have an option to apply for some scholarship money through the USAG
national scholarship fund.
Q: Are all your gymnasts in good physique with healthy diets?
A: Yes. Our athletes are very health conscious on their own accounts. We also have a team of physicians and physical therapists that work closely and often with our athletes.
